Working hours of the UK visa center

The Visa Office of the British Embassy in China is located at Floor 2 1, Kerry Center North Building, Guanghua Road1,Chaoyang District, Beijing. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 08:30- 12:00 and 13:30- 16:00.

The visa office of the British Embassy is closed according to the legal holidays in China, so they don't go to work on Saturdays and Sundays. If you need to apply for a visa, you must make an appointment by phone or embassy website first, and then you need to apply from Monday to Friday. Moreover, there are many people going to Britain, so it is recommended to queue up early.

Take a copy of the first page of your passport when you get a visa, and a copy of your ID card when you apply for a visa. If you are helping others, you should also bring a power of attorney.
