According to relevant public information, the resettlement work related to the expansion project of Hu Mei Reservoir in Cixi City was approved by the provincial government. The People's Government of Zhejiang Province issued the Notice on Prohibiting New Construction and Resettlement in the Land Expropriation and Submerged Area of Cixi Water Resources Development and Utilization Phase II Project (Hu Mei Reservoir Expansion Project), which marked that the resettlement work of this project officially entered a substantive stage. Cixi Water Conservancy Bureau will continue to pay close attention to the physical investigation of land acquisition immigrants and the approval of project planning and site selection. It is planned to complete the compilation of land acquisition and resettlement planning report and preliminary report in June 2023, and strive to start the main project before the end of June 2023.
