Although multinational forces in major military jurisdictions perform their respective duties and are responsible for the security tasks in their respective jurisdictions, the headquarters of the Kosovo Force is located in Pristina, the capital of Kosovo, and is responsible for the unified command of multinational forces in various divisions. At present, French Lieutenant General Vas Dekinbo is the Commander-in-Chief of the Kosovo Force, reporting directly to the NATO Coalition headquarters.
