Economic and financial personal statement

I am gifted in economics and accounting, so I decided to study for a degree in accounting, finance or management. Many outstanding representatives of management circles around the world have strengthened this determination.

When I was a tutor of English as a second language for students in a community school in Muscat, I realized the importance of a strong leader who can organize, win respect and cooperate well with others. My one-month internship at Novartis Pharmaceuticals (Accounting and Finance Department and Human Resources Department) further strengthened these ideas.

I attended the Harvard Model Association conference held in Paris and won the Excellence Award. One of the special skills that contributed to this award was my confident public speaking.

The past four months have been very important for me to learn about real-world business and economy. In my ib expansion article, entitled "To what extent Subway in Oman is oligopolistic", I tried to prove the oligopolistic structure of Oman's fast food market. In this process, I encountered many complexities in real life, including pricing behavior, profits and other aspects of company theory.
