Are there any Muslims in Korea, and if so, what do they eat?
-There are Muslims in South Korea. The earliest Muslim group in South Korea was the Turkish Brigade under the United Nations Army during the Korean War. Turkish soldiers have been praised by South Korea for their bravery on the battlefield and for setting up the "Ankara School" behind the scenes to provide education, food and accommodation for war orphans. Throughout the 1950s, 208 Koreans converted to Christianity because of their favorable impression of the Turkish army. There are now about 30,000 Korean Muslims, and there are 170,000 foreign Muslims from Pakistan and other countries. As an absolute minority in South Korea, it is indeed difficult for Muslims to eat food that complies with the teachings outside. However, some universities in South Korea have now opened halal canteens, and there are also some restaurants run by Indians and Pakistanis in large cities in South Korea. There is also an orchid in Myeongdong
