Preface to Li Jia pu Xu

Wuxia Kuimen, Bachu Pentium, across the valleys, towering peaks.

Li, a tenacious ancestor, immigrated to Sichuan in the second year of Kangxi (AD 1663), that is, in Wushan, between the staggered canyons and graben, and on the thin soil and gravel, he opened up a paradise of keeping company with heaven and earth and fighting against the earth. For 450 years, descendants have multiplied and families have spread all over the country.

The root-seeking of human beings is the origin of human nature. My grandson, I deeply regret that the Li people in Hubei have sent two genealogies to Sichuan for more than 400 years. However, due to the long-term changes in the environment after the war, it is a great regret in the world that there is no genealogy passed down from generation to generation. Without genealogy, it is like wandering and duckweed without roots.

It coincided with the prosperous times, and because of the reunion of the three fairs in 20 12, we missed our grandchildren for a long time, and we "met and hated each other late." What a pity! In 20 16, the Li nationality in Hubei sent another set of rebuilt genealogy "Li Family Tree", which is extremely important! Even though Qianshan has been separated for dozens of generations, I still regard my grandson's blood as thicker than water!

With tears in my eyes, I put the event of updating the genealogy of the Li family in Wufeng on the agenda.

The revision of genealogy involves all ethnic groups. Because there are clansmen, there are families, and many families thrive and merge into family history, and the collection and concentration of family history eventually forms a national history. National history is the essence of family history. Thousands of years of history and countless histories in China have proved Li's family name.

There are so many things to modify the genealogy that we haven't experienced it personally, but after reading more than 500 pages of genealogy, the draft was finally passed. The strokes of each name are connected by dotted lines of various branches and ethnic groups. We seem to see members of the editorial board staying up all night, watching the blood of their distant ancestors, eating and drinking, and thinking about the hard work of forming a family chain every day. The sweat behind every name and photo is the hardship they have been searching for verification and editing day and night for more than three years 1000. In the meantime, what is shown to my grandson is his strong feelings of home and country, extraordinary national righteousness and selfless affection. These precious spiritual wealth will inspire the descendants of the Li nationality to follow the example of the sages of the Tang Dynasty, pursue the legacy of the sages, inherit the enlightenment of the sages, always be prepared to endure and struggle when suffering, and always be prepared to be humble and respect the sages when succeeding.

As we all know, the revision of genealogy is like the history of the sea, because of the waves of history, the information left by ancestors to the younger generation is very small and difficult. What members of the editorial board do is to let future generations see the complete record of past history and the history that is happening and going on today. Every generation needs 20 years, 30 years or even a lifetime to write down the genealogy. From the records of each generation of each family, we know the history of this family's life inheritance for twenty years, thirty years or even longer. As we all know, in modern times, it is easy to write two or three words of a name, but in the past few hundred years, it is very difficult to write the name of everyone in the Li nationality accurately.

In order to improve the genealogy, sort out the blood lineage of ancestors for more than 400 years, prevent one family from missing books, and ensure that every writing is as consistent with the facts as possible, and the names contained in each book are accurate. Members of the editorial board searched for people everywhere, searched graves in the mountains several times, visited graves and asked for accommodation, and also contacted modern communication networks by telephone, repeatedly approving and amending them. Fortunately, no matter in the nearby village or hundreds of miles away, as long as I meet the descendants of the Li nationality, even if I have never met them, I am warm and orderly, which fully highlights the virtue of Li family advocating etiquette and filial piety for hundreds of years. These works also ensure that everyone's name and facts recorded in the genealogy are as accurate as possible.

On contemporary issues, the editorial board is not sloppy. They insist that with the passage of time, the contemporary will become history, and there will be many mysteries in history. A clear description of the present age is a sense of mission and responsibility for the future history, which restores the continuous development and prosperity of the Li nationality. Of course, they can't cover everything, and there are still many unsolved mysteries, which have to be left to future generations to continue to study, verify and improve.

A history of Chinese civilization is actually a history of China traditional culture, which has been deeply rooted in our family tradition. For more than 400 years, the descendants of the Li nationality in Wufeng and its surrounding areas have struggled with the harsh living environment and barren natural conditions, made unremitting efforts, escaped the war of bullets, survived the famine that eroded bones and invaded the abdomen, and made the blood clan endless and flourishing, which was really touching.

Throughout the book, we collected part of the Li family genealogy strictly and completely, and innovatively added three sets of eight scenic spots and twelve peaks, folk songs and folk customs, family letters and health knowledge related to Wufeng area. Its content is rich and colorful, and its taste is high. After reading it carefully, I have the following feelings:

First, the outline is clear and the structure is rigorous. Genealogy is divided into eleven chapters: preface, examples, outline, affection, Zude, figures, Fang Ming, lineage, organization, emblem contribution and compilation. From the origin of Li's surname to its continuation for thousands of years, through the changes of the world, the people moved from place to place, and even to the scholars of past dynasties, they also recorded quotations from sages, family precepts and righteous records to educate future generations, and presented detailed matters in this compilation, which provided precious historical materials for future generations to understand the development of Li's ethnic affairs in thousands of years' history and answer such a grand philosophical proposition as "People in heaven and earth are all human beings, where they came from and where they are going".

Second, the information is informative and credible. This continuation of genealogy is based on the genealogy provided by Jiayu clan in Hubei, and it is the result of the joint efforts of Wu Feng and the descendants of neighboring nationalities. The members of the Music Editorial Board are carefully selected after the establishment of the Music Editorial Board, and are composed of people who are enthusiastic about family affairs and respected. The compilation of music lasted for more than three years, brainstorming and learning from others, and was carefully completed in careful investigation and research. Genealogy runs through more than 400 years of history, involving thousands of people from all branches and nationalities. This is realistic and commendable.

The third is the presentation of vernacular Chinese, which is easy to understand. Classical Chinese has been used throughout the ages, but the development of the world should conform to the times. Both Li Jiapu compiled by Hubei Sangong in One and the continuation of our witchcraft relay are presented in vernacular Chinese. Each chapter of the genealogy book is catchy and easy to understand after finishing and perfecting by the editor, which provides convenience for future generations to consult and even continue to repair the genealogy and sets an example.

Fourth, take the spectrum as an example to educate people. The prosperity of the clan can not be separated from the endless clan culture, and it can not be separated from the pioneers of past dynasties. At the beginning of the Spring and Autumn Period, Laozi Li Er, and later in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, there were hundreds of Li emperors and generals, and later elites of all walks of life, all of which reflected the outstanding contribution of the Li nationality to the development of the Chinese nation in the past thousands of years. This was recorded and reproduced one by one in the genealogy, expressing the deep desire of Li's descendants to inherit the legacy of the sages, attach importance to education and culture, and educate them to study hard, forge ahead, and future generations.

Fifth, the spectrum is rigorous and well-made. In the process of updating the genealogy, we got the guidance and support from the local culture research society of the county, the senior researcher of surname culture research and the compilation research room of the county annals, which made the genealogy not only have the traditional style of the old genealogy, but also have a strong flavor of the times, and it is a rare genealogy treasure.

Today, a new score comes out, and my grandson will hold a meeting. Thanks to grandpa's great trust, I dare not refuse, but feel very close. I read the genealogy several times and cried several times. I feel that white hair and beard have done their best for children and grandchildren, and future generations should be loyal to their home country and repay this kindness. It is a kind of feeling and respect for ancestors to solemnly raise a pen and express feelings.
