What year was the Haiyuan earthquake?

"Haiyuan Earthquake" was not named at first. In the early days, Haiyuan County was under the jurisdiction of Gansu Province (Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region was established 1958, and was assigned to Ningxia with several surrounding counties), so some people generally called it "Gansu Earthquake" or "Liupanshan Earthquake".

From 65438 to 0958, experts from the Institute of Geophysics of Chinese Academy of Sciences finally determined that the epicenter was between Ganyanchi and Xi 'an in Haiyuan County, which was the Haiyuan earthquake in Gansu Province. 1958 10, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region was established, and Haiyuan County was incorporated into Ningxia, which was finally named "Ningxia Haiyuan Earthquake".
