College English Band 4 and Band 6 Requirements for Going Abroad

The CET-4 and CET-6 series is only a proof of China's English level, and it cannot be used as a proof of going abroad. Whether applying for immigration or studying abroad, you need proof of English proficiency, and most people will choose IELTS and TOEFL.

The IELTS test is divided into Class A and Class G, and Class A IELTS scores are used for studying abroad. It is mainly designed for students from non-English speaking countries to apply for study and training in Britain, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and other countries. Class G IELTS scores can be used to apply for immigration. The latest IELTS scores can only be used for studying abroad.

Many overseas universities have decided to accept CET-4/CET-6 as proof of English proficiency.

After passing CET-4 and CET-6, I got 6 points in IELTS. Ordinary schools require IELTS 5.5, better schools require more than 6, and famous schools like Oxford require 7.

You need to take TOEFL in North America, sat in the United States for undergraduate study, gre in the United States for graduate study, gmat in the United States for business school and lsat in the United States for law study. (sat, gmat, gre and lsat are all difficult, and the number of words should be at least 1.006, of which gre needs 22,000 words. )

IELTS is required to go to Commonwealth countries (that is, Britain, Australia, New Zealand and other countries). Because the universities in these countries are worse than those in the United States, the entrance examination usually requires only one IELTS score, so it is relatively easy to go to these countries. If you don't want to be too tired, you can consider it. Other TOEFL scores in Hong Kong, Germany, France and Northern Europe can also solve the problem.
