Dashan (mark henry rowswell, real name), born on May 23rd, 1965, a native of Ottawa, Canada, is a Canadian scholar, host and crosstalk performer.

1984 He was admitted to the East Asian Department of the University of Toronto and began to study China studies, and took the Chinese name "Lu Shiwei". 1988 After graduation, I studied in Chinese Department of Peking University. 1989 CCTV's New Year's Eve party became famous because of the overseas student "Dashan" in the sketch "Night Return".
