Apply for Macao passport qualification

1. Anyone who meets all the following conditions at the same time may apply for an e-passport of the Macao Special Administrative Region:

(1) is a citizen of China;

(2) Holding a permanent identity card of the Macao Special Administrative Region.

Note: China citizens referred to in the above (1) are based on the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China and the Nationality Law of the People's Republic of China of the NPC Standing Committee.

Before the issuance of the permanent identity card mentioned in item (2) above, it shall be implemented in accordance with Article 9 of Law 8/ 1999 of the Macao Special Administrative Region.
