French application for studying abroad: the details of "three certificates and two sides" determine success or failure
You can't avoid CELA when applying for a long-term study visa in France.
CELA Center is the institution responsible for receiving students from the Cultural and Linguistic Cooperation Center (SCAC) of the French Embassy in China. The main responsibility of CELA Center is to help students who apply to study in France to complete their administrative application procedures. It will assess students' French or English proficiency, their study experience in China and their study plans after going to France, and check the diplomas and relevant certificates presented by students.
Pastel is CELA's online registration system, and everyone who applies for a visa to study abroad needs to enter Pastel system to provide CELA with relevant information. Pastel's website:/dongtai/022.html.
Then you will receive a short message from Pastel system informing you that CELA interview fee has been received. At this time, you can carefully check the materials you prepared before and send them to the French Education Service Center. Xiao Min's practice is to copy all documents without a stapler, use half-open pages, and use paper clips to facilitate copying and filing. The same is true for sending materials to schools, which can make the other party feel that you are professional and considerate.
Two days later, CELA will inform you that the materials have been received by SMS at the pastel station. All you need to do is pay attention to the progress.
50 days: CELA interview
The material review may take longer, and you will receive an interview notice in about one month. Then you can make an appointment for an interview yourself. During this period, you can prepare the materials for applying for a long-term visa until the end of the interview. The advantage of this is that it can save time, and you can apply quickly after the CELA interview evaluation report comes down.
The visa officer doesn't ask many questions during the interview, but it may involve various fields. You should be familiar with the different ways of asking these basic questions and give answers according to your own specific situation. Be careful not to answer too long and don't fall into the stereotype. When answering the question of why you choose France, don't praise France blindly, such as romantic and beautiful France, and try to avoid it.
Pay attention to the questions in the interview. At the beginning of the interview, the interviewer usually asks some simple questions that have nothing to do with study. If you don't remember these questions, you can ask the interviewer to repeat them, slow down, or just say in Chinese that I didn't hear your questions clearly, so as not to answer irrelevant questions. Need to be reminded that the interview is not an exam, but an opportunity to give you a comprehensive explanation of your study abroad plan. For the interviewer, they just want to know their education, motivation to study in France and courses they want to study in France through dialogue with you, so as to have a deeper understanding of themselves and their study plans.
What you need to do is: First, you need to know how to introduce your education. The interviewer may ask about your college entrance examination results and mention the academic certificate you have obtained. In this case, he will ask you professional questions. If appropriate, you can simply add some key topics prepared in advance to show that you have a full understanding of the courses of studying in France, explain the reasons why you chose this major and school, the diploma you hope to obtain, and how long you plan to study in France. You should make sure in advance that the school you choose to study has your major.
Secondly, you should show that your decision to study in France is well thought out, and you know the study plan very well and it suits you very well. You can talk more about your love of music or your first impression of France. You know, in addition to your academic details, this information can also explain your motivation to study abroad on the other hand. Don't mechanically recite the materials you have prepared. In fact, full preparation is not to guess the questions that the interviewer may ask in advance and memorize the prepared answers, but to show them flexibly and naturally according to the situation.
30 days: Prepare long-term visa materials.
