The Historical Evolution of Jianmin Town

Jianmin Town was formed by the merger of former Jianmin, Changling and Qingfeng Township.

Jianmin Town is named after the word "Building a New China and Great National Unity". The original Jianmin township changed to a new line. During the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty (1736- 1796), because it was located in the lower reaches of the Yuehe River, with abundant rain, flat terrain and fertile land, immigrants from Hunan and Hubei moved here one after another to live and multiply with the local people and reclaim land. Qinjiao Store was established in Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty (1851-1862), and changed its name to Qinjiao Lianbao in 24th year of the Republic of China (1935), under the jurisdiction of Jiabao. In the 28th year of the Republic of China (1939), the township was expanded by United Insurance Company and reorganized into the second and third insurance companies in Qinchang Township. After liberation, a new regime was established, the old Baojia system was abolished, District 9 was established, and the original two guarantees and three guarantees were compiled into three towns: Jianmin, Toudang and Li Yue. 1March 1956, Ankang county was merged into 12 district, 120 township (town). The original District 9 was changed to Wuli District, and Jianmin Township was re-established, which governed the original Jianmin, Toudang and Li Yue townships, and the resident was changed to a line, which was managed by Wuli District. 1958 10 People's Commune, renamed as the Jianmin Administrative District of Wuli People's Commune,19619 September revoked the administrative district and established Jianmin People's Commune. 1968 changed to the revolutionary Committee of Jianmin commune in September. 1983 10, the actual administrative organization was established separately, and the original Jianmin People's Commune was renamed Jianmin Township People's Government, and the resident was changed to Bank. 1996 10 withdrew the district to build the township, abolished Wuli District, and Jianmin Township merged with the original Changling Township and Qingfeng Township to become Jianmin Town.

1before March, 956, the original Changling Township was built in the way of Jianmin Township. 1March, 953, Changling Township was established, with Qiligou as its resident, which governed the original two townships of Hongwei and Hong Guang. 1958 10 was renamed as Changling management area of Wuli people's commune. 196 1 was renamed Changling people's commune in September, and 1968 was renamed Changling commune revolutionary Committee in September. 1983 10 was changed to Changling Township, 1989 moved to Gallen Lo, and 1996 merged with the original Jianmin Township and Qingfeng Township to form Jianmin Town.

1before March 1956, the former Qingfeng Township was built in the way of Jianmin Township. 1in March, 953, Qingfeng Township was established, with Bashuliang as its resident, which governed the former youth and Ba nationality townships. 1958 10 was renamed as Qingfeng Management Zone of Wuli People's Commune. In September, 196 1 was renamed Qingfeng People's Commune, and in September, 1968 was renamed Qingfeng Commune Revolutionary Committee. 1983, 10 changed to Qingfeng Township. 1986 moved to Guijing, 1996 merged with the original Jianmin Township and Changling Township to form Jianmin Town.
