The 23rd Origin of Wulian Village: Cliff Shed

Cliff shed, also known as rock shed, is located in a ravine about 2.5 kilometers southeast of Longtangou Reservoir. Named after the stone shed in the north of the village. It belongs to a natural village in Shanggou Village. There used to be more than a dozen families, all of whom moved to the big village in the 1990s. There's only one left now.

From the front of Shanggou Village and the south bank of Chaobai River, there are two mountains, which stand like doors and are called "Xiaoguan". Half a mile further, there is a mountain gate on the high hillside, called "Daguan" or "Xiongguan". One person guarding it, 10 thousand people can't force it here, which is risky. After two passes, a stone road leads to the mountains. Not far away, there is a cliff on the left and an abyss on the right. There is a stone cliff inclined to the south, with more than ten acres of land, and nothing grows. Looking down at the bottom of the valley, it's creepy! This canyon is called: Golden Sugarcane Valley. This valley, with a total length of more than ten miles, originated in the northern mountain basin of Houbaodu Peak of Sun Bin Academy in the hinterland of Jiuxian Mountain. Because of the beautiful scenery here, Sun Bin often leads students to travel, play chess, give lectures and explain the art of war. Later, he got a golden pot here, which was named "Golden Pot Valley" by Sun Bin. The valley behind the village was named "Silver Basin Valley" because of Sun Bin's silver basin. There is a stone table next to this "Golden Water Pool", which is called "Sun Bin Table". This table is rectangular with a big stone like an official hat on it. Legend has it that this official hat was left by Sun Bin.

Pengya Village is located on a small triangular flat land, with a flowing golden pot valley in front and a silver basin valley behind it. Water flows down from the Andromeda Peak, into the tight water pool in the west of the village, and then flows into the Chaobai River along the valley. The village is surrounded by trees, birds and magpies, and flowers are everywhere. The foreign minister of Xishui Village flows and gurgles. The scenery here is unique, comfortable and quiet, with fresh air and natural oxygen bar. Only wind, rain, thunder and melodious birds can be heard here; I can't hear the songs, hawking and noisy noises of the city.

The north bank of Yinpen Valley is centered on Yan Peng, and the surrounding rocks are as lifelike as people and animals. Two stones stand side by side, the bottom of the boulder in the west is concave, and a triangular arch stands on the cliff to form a shed. People can stand, and there are countless nests on it. Swallows used to go in and out here to breed little swallows. In the north, there are tigers turning around, sex and stone old people. Dongshan has badger stone, zenith stone, phoenix stone, sleeping turtle thinking about the sea, crocodile going down the mountain, Guanyin meditation, double peaches and so on. Caves include fairy caves, bag caves, golden caves and fairy caves.

From the south of the village to Jingu, there is a gold-gathering cave, and water flows out from the bottom of the cave and makes a sound. Up is the Fairy Cave, which is extremely spacious and can accommodate dozens of people. The rushing water gushed from the gap, clean, cool and sweet. There is a road at the top of the cave, but it is dangerous. When you walk out of the hole, there is a waterfall on it, which seems to hang down from the mountain. The way up is even more rugged, and it is very difficult to climb on your back.

According to historical records, Qiu Shichang, a scholar of Tiegou Village in Zhucheng in the early Qing Dynasty, lived here in seclusion and often wrote poems with Ding. At that time, the place where he lived was called "woodshed". His name is Haishishan House, and the villa he lives in is Haishishan House. Just below the woodshed, there is a spring, a mill and two huts.
