Disadvantages of studying in Hungary

The disadvantages of studying in this country mainly include: language barriers, international recognition, educational resources and facilities, cultural exchange and lifestyle adaptation, employment and immigration policies, living costs, academic atmosphere and contacts, information acquisition and support services.

Although Hungarian higher education institutions offer some courses taught in English, Hungarian is still a challenge for students whose mother tongue is not English. If you don't master Hungarian, your daily life and part-time job opportunities may be limited. Compared with traditional countries such as Britain, America, Australia and Canada, Hungarian universities may be slightly inferior in global ranking, and their international popularity and recognition may not be as good as those of top international universities. For those students who expect to find jobs on the international stage after graduation, they may need to work harder to improve their competitiveness. Although Hungary's higher education has certain quality assurance, compared with world-class universities, the educational resources and facilities of some schools may not be advanced or sufficient, especially in some emerging disciplines or frontier fields.
