Introduction of Wudaoshui Town

Wudaoshui Town is located in the buffer zone of Badagong Mountain Primitive Forest Nature Reserve, a national nature reserve, with a forest coverage rate of 9 1.34%. With beautiful scenery and beautiful ecology, it is known as "forest kingdom, natural oxygen bar, fairyland on earth and holiday paradise" and is a national ecological town.

It is the birthplace of Lishui, one of the four major water systems in Hunan. It is rich in water resources. There are 6 small and medium-sized hydropower stations under construction or planning, with a total installed capacity of 20,000 kilowatts.

Rich cultural background, 1720 (the 59th year of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty), the chieftain of Rongmei in Hubei and the chieftain of Sangzhi in Hunan formed a five-river blood alliance, and the two chiefs waved their hands on the cliff of the Great Martial Arts, leaving an immortal chapter for thousands of years.

In 2006, the people of Sanghe County held a national unity and friendship activity at the border of Hunan and Hubei in Wudaoshui Town, which established the historical position of the provincial national unity demonstration town and the county-wide patriotic education demonstration base. Lishui gave birth to an ancient and long-standing toast culture, and achieved the unique historical culture and human landscape of Wudaoshui.

Wudaoshui is the birthplace of Sangzhi's sonorous folk songs. As one of the eight townships of folk songs in Hunan, there are folk songs, folk songs and beautiful women on every mountain here, which shows the magic of two generations of five-water female singers Lou Juxiang and Huang Daoying singing Sangzhi folk songs for two prime ministers of the Republic of China, Zhou Enlai and Zhu Rongji. Tourism resources are unique. There are famous tourist brands such as Lishuiyuan, Qiyan Spring, Yulong Hot Spring, Tusi Alliance Site and Martyrs Cemetery.
