"Fengdu is located in the hinterland of the Three Gorges reservoir area and in the ecologically sensitive area of the Yangtze River Basin. It has a great responsibility to protect the ecological environment. In order to achieve the unity of ecological benefits and economic benefits, our county will closely combine ecological protection with the development of low-carbon economy and three-dimensional forestry economy, make every effort to promote the three major points of industrial economic raw material forest, tourism industrial ecological forest and farmers' rich fruit forest, and strive to build Fengdu into a new Three Gorges immigrant city with beautiful mountains and rivers, good ecology, developed industries and livable environment. Huang Changwu, the county magistrate of Fengdu County, said that according to the requirements of "one plan, ten years, two steps" and the overall layout of "one river, two towns, three rivers, four mountains, five parks and six roads", nine key projects will be fully implemented to promote the development of forestry industry. A number of fast-growing forest bases, fruit bases and Lin Qin breeding bases for forest animals have been built in the county, which not only optimized the ecological environment, provided sufficient basic raw materials for the strategy of "Xing County", but also brought strong impetus to the project of increasing farmers' income by 10,000 yuan, especially the settlement of a number of forestry projects such as bamboo pulp and biomass energy, which injected new vitality into the development of forestry industry in the county. Fengdu county adopts the modes of enterprise-driven afforestation, large-scale contracted afforestation, professional cooperative afforestation and "company+farmer" afforestation to speed up the construction of forestry projects. In recent years, projects such as bamboo pulp and Katie biomass energy have been introduced successively to promote the development of fast-growing forests in the county. The popularization of forest engineering provides a guarantee for the demand of basic raw materials, so how can we turn forests into treasures, increase forest income and make rational use of forest resources?

In order to promote the sustainable development of forestry economy, up to now, Fengdu has introduced and cultivated 56 enterprises such as bamboo pulp papermaking, wood-based panels, furniture and bamboo handicrafts. Among them, there are 7 processing enterprises with an annual output value of more than 5 million yuan and 3 municipal forestry leading enterprises. Chengdu Chenghua Plate Factory with an investment of 65.438+500 million yuan was put into operation, and Wuhan Katie Low-carbon Economic Industrial Park with an investment of 5.5 billion yuan broke ground. In 2009, the county's total forestry output value reached 465 million yuan, a year-on-year increase of 26.7%; The per capita annual income of forestry farmers increased by 55 yuan over the previous year, with a growth rate of 2 1.4%.

In order to stimulate farmers' enthusiasm for afforestation and set off a climax of afforestation, Fengdu focused on the future and focused on developing the rich mountain. Taking the construction of industrial economic raw material forest, tourism industrial ecological forest and farmers' rich fruit forest as the development strategy, Fengdu County's preferential reward and support policy for forest projects was issued, with an investment of 2.2 billion yuan, and the subsidy standard for fast-growing and low-efficiency forests was raised to 4 18 yuan/mu. According to the regional layout of "one city, two pieces and six groups", Fengdu County has fully implemented the construction of urban forest projects. While making every effort to promote forest greening in the core area of the city, the county has also built four "forest eco-towns" and 90 "green villages" in Gaozhen, Longhe, Shi Zhi and Shetan, striving to afforest 37,000 mu by 2065,438+02, with the forest coverage rate of four central towns reaching over 40%, 90 green villages reaching over 42% and green villages reaching over 35%.
