What is the compensation standard for reservoir resettlement of Chongqing Wulong Baima Hydropower Station?

Baima navigation and power junction project is one of the 100 key projects in Chongqing. According to the nature of the project, the relocation and resettlement of land-expropriated migrants shall be carried out in accordance with the Decision of the State Council on Amending the Regulations on Land Expropriation Compensation and Resettlement for Large and Medium-sized Water Conservancy and Hydropower Projects (Order No.679 of the State Council), Supplementary Notice of Chongqing Municipal People's Government on Implementing the Regulations on Land Expropriation Compensation and Resettlement for Large and Medium-sized Water Conservancy and Hydropower Projects in the State Council (Yufufa [2008] 128) and General Office of Chongqing Municipal People's Government on Adjusting the Resettlement of this Project.

According to the nature and relevant policies of Baima Navigation & Power Junction Project, the construction unit entrusted Yangtze River Survey, Planning and Design Institute Co., Ltd. to compile the Revised Report on Land Requisition and Resettlement Planning for the Construction of Baima Navigation & Power Junction in Wujiang, Chongqing according to the design specifications, which was reviewed and approved by the Letter on Reply to the Revised Report on Land Requisition and Resettlement Planning for the Construction of Baima Navigation & Power Junction in Wujiang (Yushuihan [2018] No.409) by Chongqing Water Resources Bureau. In March 2020, the People's Government of Wulong District issued the Notice on Defining the Compensation Policy for Land Acquisition, Demolition and Resettlement of Baima Navigation and Power Junction in Wujiang, Chongqing (Wulong Fufa [2020] No.9), which made it clear that the replacement price of the main house with demolition frame structure was 803 yuan/square meter.

The 803 yuan/㎡ you mentioned is only the replacement price of the main house of the frame structure, and the housing compensation expenses also include housing decoration subsidies, infrastructure construction subsidies, relocation expenses and temporary transitional resettlement subsidies. Even if you are not satisfied with monetary compensation and resettlement, you can choose to return to the market town and other resettlement methods.
