Lanxi bridge introduction?

Lanxi Bridge, located next to Xiyang Temple in Xiyang Village, Wudabao Township, qingyuan county, Zhejiang Province, was built in the second year of Wanli (1574) and rebuilt in the fifty-ninth year of Qingganlong (1794). Because the original site was located in the downstream storage area of Lanxi Bridge Reservoir, it was moved here on 1984. 1997 was announced as the fourth batch of provincial cultural relics protection units in Zhejiang province.

Lanxi Bridge is a long-span wooden arch bridge with wooden arches and cantilever corridors. Like a flying rainbow, it skillfully connects the Western Temple with the highway. The bridge has a total length of 48. 12m, a width of 5m, and a height of 9.4m from the riverbed. The arch is splayed and consists of dozens of thick logs, which has the functions of compression resistance, bending resistance and lateral displacement resistance. There are three layers of wind shields on both sides, which are stacked in turn like a bridge skirt, simple and generous. The frame principle of bridge body is a masterpiece in the history of civil bridge construction in China.

During the Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty, Ding, the magistrate of Qingyuan County, Hanlin, wrote a poem: "Lanxi Bridge enters the water and goes to the water at night; If you have a guest to lean on, you must work hard in this life; Officials hold a treasure and never pay for wine; If you want to return to the field for a long time, your kindness is high. " This situation is enough to make sentimental people in ancient and modern times feel sorry for the past. Of course, what the ancients said was the Lanxi Bridge on the original site. In fact, today's Lanxi Bridge is located in the land where feng shui opens the sun, which can be said to be even worse. It forms a perfect landscape with the Western Temple.
