At that time, the northeast was not called Manchuria. At that time, Manchuria mostly referred to Manchu, not place names.

During the Republic of China, Manchu remnants did not give up the idea of restoring the country. After the 9. 18 Incident in Japan, the remnants of the Manchu Dynasty quickly defected to Japan, occupied the three northeastern provinces, and established a pseudo-"Manchukuo". Manchuria has since become the place name of the three northeastern provinces.
