What is the blue card for?

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden.

Blue card application conditions:

1. Master degree or equivalent.

2. At least 5 years experience in their own professional fields (including engineers, programmers, nurses, chefs, plumbers, truck drivers and electricians).

3. Have a quality work contract or job opportunity of at least 1 year.

4. Reach the minimum wage threshold of EU countries/regions where the target work is achieved.

5. For regulated occupations, it is necessary to prove that they meet the requirements of national laws.

6. If you lose your job within the first 3 years of holding the blue card, the cardholder will have 3 months to find another job. Otherwise you will have to leave the country.
