How to get a passport in Wuhan?

Wuhan registered residents shall apply for passports for going abroad for personal reasons according to the following procedures.

(a) to receive the form.

Applicants can get the Application Form for Ordinary Passport of the People's Republic of China from the Exit-Entry Administration Office of Wuhan Public Security Bureau or the Jiangnan Acceptance Point (the fifth floor of the Administrative Committee of Donghu New Technology Development Zone), or they can log on to the Internet and download the form directly from Wuhan hotline (website: www.wuhan.net.cn) (printed on A4 paper).

. Residents of Jiang 'an District, Jianghan District, Qiaokou District, Wuchang District, caidian district, Jiangxia District, huangpi district District and Xinzhou District can also get the forms from the public security bureau where they are registered.

(2) filing an application.

Residents of Jiang 'an District, Jianghan District, Qiaokou District and Wuchang District may apply to the branch office where the household registration is located. Residents in caidian district, Jiangxia District, huangpi district and Xinzhou District must apply to the Public Security Bureau where their household registration is located. Other residents of this Municipality shall go to the Exit-Entry Administration Office of the Municipal Bureau or the Jiangnan Acceptance Point (5th floor of Donghu High-tech Management Committee) for handling. The applicant must submit himself and the following materials:

1. Submit and fill in a complete application form for ordinary passports of the People's Republic of China.

2. Submit digital photos. According to the requirements of certificate production, the applicant must go to the accepting organ or five photo spots in our city (see the attached table for the name and location) for digital photography.

3. Submit the original valid ID card and household registration book and submit a copy.

4. Persons with specific identities shall submit the opinions of their competent authorities (for the definition of persons with specific identities, see Article 2 of this Note).

5. Servicemen are required to submit the approval documents of personnel going abroad for personal reasons, the military officer's card and temporary id card issued by the party committees or political organs at the corps level with the power of examination and approval in the military system, and submit a copy.

(three) to receive the acceptance receipt

When receiving the receipt, the applicant must carefully check its contents and sign for confirmation.

(4) obtain a certificate.

The applicant shall hold the ID card, receipt and payment receipt, and obtain the license according to the time indicated on the receipt. If I really can't come to get the certificate, I can entrust my relatives to take the witness ID card, receipt, payment receipt and relevant documents (such as household registration book) that can clearly prove the kinship. The applicant can also choose postal courier voluntarily, and the certificate fee will be paid by the postal courier on his behalf, and a payment receipt will be sent to the applicant with the certificate.

Time limit for registration

The exit-entry administration department of the public security organ shall complete the examination and approval and issue a certificate within 10 working days from the date of acceptance (that is, the date of issuing the acceptance receipt); If the certificate is obtained by express delivery, the examination and approval shall be completed within 8 working days from the date of acceptance and the certificate shall be issued. (except in special circumstances).

If the extension, renewal and replacement of passports are not in the original examination and approval authority, the current examination and approval authority shall verify and notify the original examination and approval authority. It takes 20 working days for the passport to be extended and renewed, and 3 months for the passport to be replaced.

The time limit for issuing entry and exit passes is 15 working days.

If the applicant has special circumstances that need urgent handling, it can be settled within 5 working days after submitting the corresponding supporting materials.

Special circumstances refer to:

1, go abroad for treatment or visit critically ill patients, and submit medical records;

2. When going abroad to attend a funeral, you need to submit a death certificate or a notice issued by the embassy or consulate to handle the funeral of the deceased;

3. When going abroad to participate in emergency business activities, you need to submit an invitation letter for going abroad and a unit certificate;

4. If the time for studying abroad is less than one month, you need to submit an overseas admission notice;

5. To study abroad, you need to submit a fully stamped JW 108 form;

6. If the entry permit or visa of the destination country is about to expire, a valid visa is required.

Relevant regulations on not leaving the country

1, defendants in criminal cases and criminal suspects identified by public security organs or people's procuratorates and people's courts;

2, the people's court informed that there are unresolved civil cases can not leave the country;

3, was sentenced to punishment is serving a sentence;

4. Being reeducated through labor;

5. The relevant authorities in the State Council believe that leaving the country will cause harm to national security or cause great losses to national interests;

6. There are deceptive acts such as fabricating the case and providing false certificates.

Passport renewal

Under any of the following circumstances, the holder may apply for a new passport (a person with a specific identity shall submit a registration certificate to his work unit):

(a) the passport has been extended twice and cannot be extended when it is about to expire;

(2) the passport visa page is used up;

(3) If the passport is damaged and can no longer be used, the public security organ shall issue a new passport within 3 months from the date of acceptance;

(four) the passport has been altered and has been punished by the relevant departments for three months;

(five) other special circumstances approved by the original examination and approval authority or the superior competent department.

If the visa page of the holder's passport has been used up, it is necessary to keep the valid visa on the original passport. You can cut out the upper right corner of the front and back of the original passport and use it with the new passport.

Passport extension (97 passports)

The holder can apply for an extension within 6 months before the expiration of the passport, and must submit his household registration book and ID card (proof of registration with his unit). If the destination country requires the passport to be valid for more than 6 months when issuing a visa, it shall submit the relevant certificates issued by the immigration visa authority of the destination country or embassies and consulates in China. Passports that have expired and have not been extended are invalid and cannot be extended.

Replacement of lost passport

China citizens who have lost their passports can apply to the public security organs or our embassies and consulates abroad for a replacement passport after obtaining the certificate of loss reporting issued by the public security organs or other departments of the host country (persons with specific identities submit the certificate of loss reporting registration to their units). Public security organs or China embassies and consulates abroad shall not issue more than two valid passports to the same applicant.

(1) If a domestic resident loses his passport before leaving the country, he shall report the loss to the public security organ (police station) where he lost his passport, obtain a certificate of loss reporting, and publish a statement in the newspaper (Changjiang Daily and Hubei Daily) designated by the provincial public security organ where the original photo was taken or where his current account is located. The exit-entry administration department of the public security organ where the account is located accepts the application for passport renewal, and after verification, the passport will be reissued within three months from the date of acceptance.

(2) If a citizen of China loses his passport abroad, he shall apply to the exit-entry administration department of the public security organ where his domicile is located for a replacement passport with a travel permit issued by the embassy or consulate of China in that country, and the passport shall be reissued within three months from the date of acceptance.

(3) If a China citizen who has settled abroad loses his passport in a short period of time, he shall submit a certificate of settlement abroad, a certificate of loss reporting by the public security organ at the place where he lost his passport, and a certificate of loss reporting by the newspaper (Changjiang Daily and Hubei Daily) designated by the public security organ at the place where he took the photo or temporarily lived.

The range of people with a specific identity

State functionaries in party and government organs at all levels, people's congresses, CPPCC, people's courts, people's procuratorates and people's organizations,

Retired cadres at or above the department (bureau) level;

(two) members of the leading bodies of public institutions, middle-level (deputy) or above managers, and retired cadres at or above the department (bureau) level;

(three) the legal representative of state-owned enterprises, managers at or above the middle level, and representatives of state-owned shares of state-owned holding and shareholding enterprises;

(4) Other personnel who need to be submitted for the record, such as those involved in national politics, economy, security and commercial secrets, key personnel in financial, taxation, scientific research, teaching and other institutions, and on-the-job personnel with senior titles and doctoral degrees in state-owned enterprises and institutions.

China citizens who are inconvenient or unable to leave the country with passports due to special circumstances should submit corresponding materials according to different situations, mainly including the certificate issued by the local police station, the applicant's travel permit, passport or residence certificate abroad, etc.
