Wangcang county Guanziba Reservoir Resettlement Scope

The construction of Guanziba Reservoir and water supply project, an important part of Sichuan's "five horizontal and six vertical" water diversion network, has been fully started. In order to realize the integration of production and city, the flooded area of the reservoir involves nearly 30 thousand people in four towns and villages, and fully guides the immigrants from the reservoir area to concentrate in Wangguang Comprehensive Development Zone.

Guanziba Reservoir is a comprehensive water conservancy project which mainly focuses on irrigation and has the functions of water supply, flood control and power generation. The dam site of the reservoir is planned in wangcang county, with a total storage capacity of 382 million cubic meters.
