The historical position of Luo Luo Lu
Known as Luo Luo Lu, this ancient road is the fastest and most famous among many ancient roads leading from Chang 'an to Sichuan and Southwest China in history. Just listening to the place names along this ancient road, you can imagine its prosperity and glory in those days-steamer yard, mule shop, Huochiba, Paifanggou, Sanguan Temple, Samsung Bridge ... There are traces of shops, business trips and markets everywhere. According to historical records, because Luo Luo Lu crossed many rivers and canyons, nearly 100 plank roads were built on cliffs, accounting for about one third of the whole road.
According to documents, there are more than 90,000 pavilions at the peak of the plank road from Chang 'an, the then capital, to Chengdu. Each pavilion is 270,000 meters, or more than 500 miles, accounting for about one-third of the whole journey from Xi 'an to Hanzhong.
Luo Luo Lu, with a total length of 240 kilometers, was the shortest and steepest ancient road from Chang 'an to Hanzhong in that year, because it entered the Qinling Mountains from Zhouzhi to Luo Yu in the north and left Hanzhong from Luoshui Valley in Yangxian County in the south, and the import and export each took the name of a place. On the way, we have to bypass five or six watersheds in Taibai Mountain. The passing places are sparsely populated and wild animals haunt. According to historical records, the Luoluo plank road has five miles and one post, ten miles and one pavilion, and thirty miles and one post ... These aerial plank roads meander between mountains and surging green waves, sometimes a pavilion, sometimes the first floor, sometimes a pavilion, how elegant and magnificent it is. It's hard for us to imagine today.
Not everyone can go to Luo Lu.
"Li Bai certainly didn't walk through the Shu Road, otherwise he wouldn't sigh' it is hard to go ascended to the sky'." Du Yi, a native of Hanzhong, sighed and commented on the road, with a sneer at Li Bai. "According to later generations' research on seven ancient plank roads leading from Guanzhong to Southwest China, such as Luo Luo Lu, more than a thousand years ago, it was not as difficult for Chang 'an people to go to Sichuan and other places, but it was much faster and more convenient than today's imagination, because there was already a" highway "in China at that time. Of course, at that time, roads were not called plank roads, because most of them were built on cliffs and the road conditions were somewhat poor. " Proudly introduce Du to reporters.
Although the "road conditions" are too rugged because they are mostly in dangerous places, there are many records in the bustling historical materials of Luoluo Road, and it is puzzling that many people in these records are almost from Li Bai's era. This makes people wonder, why didn't the "Poet Fairy" who traveled all over Qian Shan choose the road to get in and out of Chang 'an and Shu?
In 784 AD, when the Great Tang Dezong was built in the Middle Ages, Princess Tang An, the eldest daughter of Emperor Shili of Dezong, walked out of the Qinling Mountains. Shortly after crossing the Luoshui estuary, she died of sudden illness at the age of 23. Princess Tang 'an's mausoleum is located in Ma Chang Town, 20 kilometers west of Yangxian County. That year, the great poet Bai Juyi 12 years old, worked as a county magistrate in charge of politics and law in zhouzhi county, north of Luoluo Road for decades. Princess Tang An fled with her father to avoid the mutiny. One hundred years later, there was another emperor in the prosperous Tang Dynasty, Li Xian, who fled from Luo Luo Lu for similar reasons ... It can be seen that Luo Luo Road in those days was really similar to today's expressway, that is, it was not anyone's "car" and it was not anyone who wanted to get on it.
Today, flights have opened up the "Rollo Road" in the sky.
Unfortunately, the exact construction date of the Luo Luo Lu was not accurately recorded in the literature and related materials of scholars and experts in past dynasties. The earliest record in history is that Cao Shuang of Wei sent troops to attack Shu in the Three Kingdoms, and Jiang Wei, the general of Shu, led troops to attack Wei from this route ... After the middle Tang Dynasty, Luo Luo Lu was frequently used as a post road in the capital, and most official activities, such as officials going to work, reporting on their work in the capital and envoys, passed through Luo Luo Lu. After the Yuan Dynasty, this road was no longer used as a post road, because there were too many villains and wild animals. After liberation, with the development of modern transportation, Luo Luo Lu was completely forgotten by people. Even so, when you take a flight from Xi 'an to Hanzhong and pass through the Qinling Mountains, you will be surprised to find that this waterway actually takes the "Luo Luo Lu" in the sky. I really don't know if it was a coincidence or intentional!
Now, occasionally explorers and travelers risk their lives to walk in Luo Lu. They often find a hole with a big bowl on the cliff, above the cliff and deep in Yunling. Local villagers will proudly say that this is the place where China's earliest "expressway" passed.
