What does the Immigration Service Center do?

Promoting immigrant training and counseling: responsible for guiding and promoting social organizations, grassroots organizations and foreign-related enterprises and institutions to carry out language and culture training and counseling for immigrants in China, and promoting the social integration of immigrants; Compilation and production of knowledge books and audio-visual materials: organize the compilation and production of legal, cultural, social and ethnic knowledge books and audio-visual materials for immigrants and settlers in China to help them familiarize themselves with the working and living environment; Collect and analyze the immigration situation: collect and analyze the immigration situation, characteristics and trends at home and abroad, and put forward suggestions on the revision and adjustment of immigration management policies and regulations; Understand the opinions of immigrants and settlers: Understand and master the opinions and suggestions of immigrants and settlers in China, and assist relevant authorities to improve service management. Matters needing attention in the work of immigration service center: do a good job in all aspects of registration, approval, transmission, supervision and filing of all kinds of immigration documents received, and standardize the issuance and handling of documents; The documents to be issued by various departments should be carefully examined and checked from the aspects of document format, text and policy to ensure the quality of documents. The Entry-Exit Service Center will plan to build a national-level centralized, integrated, multilingual and full-time entry-exit management information service platform for the whole country, providing unified services such as policy and regulation consultation, complaint reporting acceptance, case clue transfer, emergency help response, coordinated management service supervision and evaluation, travel risk assessment and release, and notification of customs and taboos outside the country (territory), and cooperate with window units and front-line departments to strengthen the whole process contact with entry-exit personnel and provide all-round services.

Legal basis: Administrative Measures for the Transfer of Cadres of the State Administration of Immigration (Trial) Article 2 Cadres transferred from units other than the State Administration of Immigration shall be reported to the Party Group of the State Administration of Immigration for approval, and cadres transferred below the division level shall be reported to the Department of Cadre and Personnel of the State Administration of Immigration for approval. Personnel transferred from the National Immigration Bureau shall be reported to the members of the leading group of central station-level units or bureau-level cadres for examination and approval, and the cadres at the department level shall be reported to the cadre and personnel department of the National Immigration Bureau for examination and approval, and the cadres below the department level shall be reported to the cadre and personnel department of the National Immigration Bureau for approval.
