Hubei province has lifted the restrictions on marriage. On February 24, 2020, the Hubei Provincial Government issued the Marriage Law, which removed the marriage restrictions and allowed both men and women to get married freely under legal conditions. According to the Marriage Law of Hubei Province, the marriage registration authority in Hubei Province no longer requires both men and women to provide pre-marital medical reports, marriage certificates and other documents, but requires both men and women to provide valid identity documents and marriage intentions confirmed by investigation. In this way, the restrictions on marriage in Hubei Province have been lifted, and both men and women can get married freely.
