Liulin town duheyuan

River blocking originated in August 2003 and was approved by Hubei provincial government as a provincial nature reserve. The Dujiang River Basin has rich and unique folk cultural resources and ancient and mysterious regional culture, and is listed as the "Dujiangyuan Cultural Ecological Protection Zone".

Blocking the river was called "Wuling water" and "Kongyang water" in ancient times, also known as "Douhe". The blocking river originates from Dajiu Lake in Shennongjia and runs through Zhushan, mainly located in Liulin Township and guandu town, Zhushan County. It is one of the water sources of the Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Transfer. Blocking the river is not only the mother river of Zhushan, but also the most beautiful green corridor in the backyard of Shennongjia and Wudang Mountain because of the charm of "strange caves and dangerous gorges".

The blocking river spews out from Dajiu Lake, such as a dragon spitting water, rushing through the forest and mountains, and thus forms 108 waterfalls with different shapes and extraordinary charm, which is 4 kilometers long and forms a waterfall group, which is amazing. Among the waterfalls, there are Yerendong, Tianshengqiao and Baihujian, and the scenery is pleasant. The blocked Hong Ping River is clear and winding, with beautiful peaks on both sides. What's more peculiar is that caves can be seen everywhere. Baiyanzhai Cave, Old Longquan Cave, Longfei Cave, Bailong Cave, Huanglong Cave and Qinglong Cave can accommodate thousands of people at the same time. The spring water in the cave is tinkling, and the stalactites are varied, which makes people linger.

The source basin is rich in species, including 67 species of wild animals and plants under special state protection, such as Davidia involucrata and golden eagle, which are very primitive and ancient. In addition, there are other wonders in the basin, such as Lvtou Gorge and Wuling Gorge.
