Around the 16th year of Chenghua in the Ming Dynasty (AD 1480), when immigrants from Fujian moved to this village, the Meilin River passed through this place to reach Huilai. Shenquan in the county has convenient water and land transportation, forming a small village. There is a mountain collapse cave in the west of the village, so it is named Bengkan Village. Later, it was renamed Wan'an, which means the peace of all families.
