What are the requirements for skilled immigrants in Spain?
The application for a work permit is generally submitted to the provincial Ministry of Internal Affairs (local labor bureau), and can also be submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Immigration Bureau and even the post office. Only when the job for which the work permit is applied is that the Spanish employer really needs to provide services to the outside world, and no suitable candidate can be found in Spain, the Spanish consulate will accept the application.
The documents required to apply for a Spanish labor permit are quite extensive, which takes time to collect, and all the application documents are submitted in Spanish, so the cost of translation must be considered in terms of time and financial budget. Once an application is submitted, it takes three to six months to process it due to the highly bureaucratic system that protects the local labor market. Of course, these are all things that employers have to do in Spain. It may be him or the lawyer he hired.
After obtaining the work permit, the applicant initially obtains the work permit of Class B, with the longest validity period of 1 year. The permit can be renewed and become a class B visa, valid for up to 2 years. Applicants for foreign workers must apply for a residence visa at the Spanish embassy or consulate to live and work in Spain, because the work permit is the permission of the labor bureau to employ foreign workers in the company, and candidates are not allowed to travel or live in Spain. Once the work permit is approved, the candidate must apply for a residence visa (D visa). To complete the employment procedure of work permit, you can't work in Shia only with Schengen visa (Class C visa).
Applicants need to provide proof of no criminal record, original birth certificate and notarized work experience to prove that the applicant has enough experience to be qualified for the position. Therefore, these notarized documents should be prepared in advance, and the validity period of no criminal certificate is half a year. If the applicant is assigned to work in Spain, the candidate must have 6 to 12 months of work experience to prove that he is familiar with the company's system.
Candidates who are related to Spanish and Latin American citizens will be given priority.
