Fujian people go to Kunming University, climate and life changes

The climate in Kunming is really spring-like all year round, especially in summer, which is very comfortable. Air conditioning is rarely used in Kunming. Spring and autumn clothes are always available, but it is still quite cold in winter, so you need to bring a sweater and a jacket, especially on rainy days.

In terms of food, Yunnan’s dishes tend to be salty, so of course it depends on your personal taste. As a provincial capital city, you can eat dishes from all over the country. I don’t know which school you go to, but generally the snack bars around the university can provide food for students from all over the world, and there are also snacks in Shaxian County.

In terms of life, shopping and traveling are very convenient in Kunming. For shopping, just go to Nanping Street, where most major stores and supermarkets are located.

Consumption varies from person to person. The overall consumption of students is not expensive around the school. In the past, my living expenses were around 800, which was very comfortable.
