What will happen if the visa of F 1 expires? The expiration of visa F 1 means that once you leave the United States, there is no reason to come back here. But the I-20 form has not expired, and you can still be guaranteed to stay in the United States legally. Knowing this situation, you can basically handle related things!

Re-applying for a visa F 1 You can speed up the application process by using the visa forwarding service without going to the embassy or consulate for an interview. For application procedures, please see: US visa renewal process.

Materials required:

1. Passport: Passport must be valid for at least six months beyond the scheduled stay in the United States.

2. Confirmation page of DS-160 application form.

3. One photo: a 2-inch square (5 1mmx5 1mm) color front photo taken in the last six months, with a white background.

4. The number of the paid visa fee receipt.

5. American study abroad/study plan and related detailed information, including the names and email addresses of American school tutors and/or department heads.

6. A resume detailing past academic and professional experience, including a complete list of submitted publications.

7. Official transcripts of courses taught by American educational institutions.

8. Tutor's personal profile, resume or printed web page (for graduate students appointed by American educational institutions).

For students with expired F and J visas, you can enter the United States with expired F and J visas and valid I-20 and I-94 forms if you meet the following conditions:

1. American visa expired (f, j)

2.I-20 and I-94 are within the validity period (they still have legal status in the United States)

3. Have not been to Canada, Mexico or other places outside the neighboring islands of the United States, and have been away from the United States for less than 30 days.

When I left the United States, I didn't apply for an American visa in Canada, Mexico and the neighboring islands of the United States.

5. Passport is valid for more than 6 months.

6. Non-Iranian, Syrian, Sudanese and Korean citizens
