Unfortunately, the visa waiting list has not yet been your turn. You will be notified when we are considering processing your immigration application. The reason for this delay is that the number of people applying for visas greatly exceeds the immigrant visa quota granted by law. For certain visa categories, such as F3 or F4 (note: the category breakdown of study visas, check the specific breakdown yourself), this may be delayed for many years. If you would like to know which priority dates are currently being processed, you can call the Department of State’s visa office at (202) 663-1541.

Please note that it is best not to make any plans at this time, such as disposing of property, giving up work or travel arrangements. Because we cannot predict when in the future we will begin processing your immigrant visa application.

If your address changes or your personal circumstances change, these changes will affect your immigrant visa rights, please notify us in time.
