Where is the upper reaches of Beijiang River?

Beijiang River is mainly located in Guangdong, and Wujiang River and Zhenjiang, the two main sources of the upper reaches of Beijiang River, meet in Shaoguan City. Shaoguan, the central city in northern Guangdong, is also the only city on Beijiang River that can enjoy the beautiful scenery of the intersection of the two rivers. The peninsula formed between the two rivers is like a long tongue, guiding the direction of the Beijiang River to the south. After the Tang Dynasty, it was the opening of the Beijiang-Meiling Passage that replaced the Xijiang-Gui Jiang Passage in the Qin and Han Dynasties and became the main passage between Lingnan and the Central Plains. Shaoguan, as the first stop from the Central Plains to Lingnan, provides a rest passage for many immigrants.
