Why does Bhutan not belong to China?

Bhutan was a part of Nepal in ancient times, and Nepal was once a dependency of China in ancient times. It was directly controlled by Tubo in the early stage and directly controlled by Tang Dynasty in the later stage. Finally left China after the Anshi Rebellion. In fact, the Tang Dynasty controlled Nepal for more than half a century.

When it comes to Nepal, you have to say Buddhism. Gotama Yicheng (now translated as Sakyamuni), the founder of Buddhism, is the son of Kapilawi (now Nepal). So the origin of Buddhism is also in Nepal. Buddhism had a great influence in ancient China, and it has become a part of the traditional culture of China. However, in ancient times, the kingdom of Kaplovi belonged to the northern Tianzhu area and did not belong to a unified Tianzhu country, especially before the Tang Dynasty.

Buddhabhadra was born in Tianzhu (now Nepal) in northern Gabon. He was a monk and Buddhist translator in the Southern and Northern Dynasties, and his Chinese translation was called Juexian. His translation of Hua Yan Jing has a great influence on Buddhism in China, and The Book of Becoming a Monk has its own biography. Fa Xian, a monk from China, went west to learn from the scriptures. He has been to Kaplovi, and after returning home, he translated a large number of Buddhist scriptures he brought back with Buddhabhadra.

Nepal was called Nepal in the Tang Dynasty. Early nirvana was closely related to the Tubo regime. Tubo Zambsongzangambu married Nirvana Bhrikuti Devi, and the famous scholar Siraman Nirvana Pigeon also visited Tubo. There is also an international passage between Nibo and Tubo-"Tubo Nibo Road".

Later, the affiliation between Nepal and Tubo changed. Xuanzang, a monk of the Tang Dynasty, arrived in Nepal in the ninth year of Zhenguan (AD 635) and visited Kapilowei, the birthplace of Sakyamuni, and visited Kathmandu. In the twenty-first year of Zhenguan (AD 647), Nipolo sent envoys to the Tang Dynasty to drive away Tubo, bringing spinach, leeks and leeks.

At this time, it was the beginning of the 7th century. After the death of King Shiva (reigned from 588 to 606) of the Richard Dynasty, his son-in-law and prime minister Amoussou Varma (reigned from 606 to 640) succeeded to the throne, but later made friends with the Tang Dynasty to fight against Tubo. Amoussou Valma managed the country very well and was also very clever. Under his rule, the Richard dynasty reached its peak, and agriculture, handicrafts and commerce all developed considerably. About the situation in Nepal at that time, there is a detailed record in the book of the Western Regions of Datang. Amoussou Valma is a Hindu, but he also agrees with Buddhism and loves art. He once built the famous Kut Palace in Kailas. This is a seven-story building with exquisite design, beautiful shape and huge scale. On the top floor is a hall that can accommodate ten thousand people. This shows that Nepal's construction technology has reached a high level at that time.

In about 639, when Tubo was going to annex Nepal, Amoussou Varma married his daughter Bhrikuti (Princess Chizun) to Songzan Gambu in Tibet, China, while Princess Wencheng of China began to marry Tubo almost at the same time in order to surround Tubo in the Tang Dynasty. In 643, Amoussou Varma's successor, Narendra Dewa, became king with the support of Emperor Taizong and Li Shimin, and asked the Tang King for the title. Soon after, Wang Xuance, China's envoy to the Tang Dynasty, brought this title back to Nepal. As early as the fifteenth year of Zhenguan (64 1), the five Indian countries in China and Tianzhu sent envoys to the Tang Dynasty to invite them to enter the DPRK. So in 643, the Tang Dynasty sent Li Yibiao to confer the title of North Korea, and Wang Xuance, the deputy envoy, conferred the King of Nepal in North Tianzhu as the King of Nizhou County. As for Nantianzhu, most of them are chaotic small countries, and they are not eligible for the title of Tang Dynasty for the time being.

In the twenty-first year of Zhenguan (647), the Tang Dynasty sent Wang Xuance as the envoy and Jiang as the deputy envoy, and conferred the title of Tianzhu Francisco (India). Except for North Tianzhu (Nepal is the mud state directly under the Tang Dynasty), the four Tianzhu kings sent messengers with their belongings to prepare to pay tribute to the Tang Dynasty with Wang Xuance. It coincided with the death of the Tianzhu king's corpse Luo, and some people wanted to rebel against the Tang Dynasty and the royal family, so the country was in chaos. Finally, Nafudi Arona succeeded in usurping the throne and mobilized the whole army to reject Wang Xuance's imperial edict of the Tang Dynasty. In the early stage, 2,000 people were sent to ambush Wang Xuance and others on the road, then 30 cavalry of Wang Xuance ambushed the enemy, several envoys of the Tang Dynasty died, and the rest, including Wang Xuance, were captured and imprisoned. Later, Wang Xuance escaped from the prison with the help of her former sister Wang. Wang Xuance fled and arrived in Tubo. Wang Xuance sent a message from the Tang King to recruit local troops, and got Tubo 1200 Wang Bing from Xihai County and 7000 King Cavalry from Nipolo (now Nepal) from Nizhou County. Arjuna mobilized 70,000 troops to fight, but was defeated by the troops of Tubo and Nigeria counties led by Wang Xuance and his deputy Jiang. In 648 AD, the troops of the Tang Dynasty attacked Chaqi and Luocheng in Zhongtianzhu, fought fiercely for three days, broke through Chaqi and Luocheng, beheaded more than 3,000 people, and drowned about 65,438+/kloc-0.0 million people. Arona shun escaped, gathered the scattered soldiers and fought again. Jiang captured Arona Shun and captured thousands of enemies. Yu Zhong followed the king's wife to resist Jiang Weihe in Gando. Jiang defeated them, captured his concubine and prince, captured12,000 men and women, and handed over all kinds of livestock in 30,580 cities. The body of Cuomo, the king of East Tianzhu, sent 30,000 cattle and horses to feed the army, as well as bows, knives and precious tassels. The country has no choice but to offer foreign things to send pictures and ask for a portrait of Laozi. Tianzhu was surprised and scared. In May of the 22nd year of Zhenguan, Wang Xuance took captured Arona Shun and his princess, son, 22,000 men and women, and more than 20,000 horses and cattle to Chang 'an as prisoners. After this war, Tang Shi took a list of more than 50 households in Tianzhu in the Tang Dynasty, and Emperor Taizong conferred Wang Xuance as a doctor in the DPRK.

In 723 AD, Guna Kama Deva, a native of Nigeria, got the support of Emperor Li Longji of the Tang Dynasty and established KanTepoel (now Kathmandu) in Nigeria until 756, when he began to break away from China's effective control. It can be said that Nepal was effectively managed for a long time before the Tang Dynasty, especially before the Anshi Rebellion. Although the Nepalese were originally cultivated in the Tang Dynasty to surround Tubo, the Buddha Sakyamuni was indeed from China.
