2. Persons with valid passports and any of the following persons who can stay in Macao for a long time:

A certificate issued by the public security police approving the valid Residence Permit or Special Residence Permit;

B holding a foreign employee's identity card or "work entry certificate".

C. Hold the Employment Certificate for Professional Foreign Employees issued by the Labor Bureau and the Application Document Receipt passed by the police station in the first instance;

D holding a "special residence permit" for family members of professional foreign employees.

3. Holders of valid passports who meet one of the following conditions may re-enter the Mainland of China:

A. Passport belongs to the applicable documents of the visa exemption agreement between China and foreign countries;

B holding valid residence permits for work, private affairs or reunion of China people and foreigners;

C. Holding a valid diplomatic, official, courtesy and C-shaped People's Republic of China (PRC) visa;

D holding a valid visa from People's Republic of China (PRC) and other countries 1 month or more;

E. Holding valid permanent identity cards for China people and foreigners;

F holding a valid China Travel Permit, People's Republic of China (PRC) Entry-Exit Pass or other documents that can re-enter the mainland of China.

Do Americans need a visa to live in China and go to Macau in 2022?

Article 7 An applicant may apply to settle in Hong Kong or Macao under any of the following circumstances:

(1) One of the spouses has settled in Hong Kong or Macao and has been separated for many years;

(2) Parents who have settled in Hong Kong and Macao are old and infirm and must be taken care of by mainland children;

(three) the elderly and children who are helpless in the mainland have to rely on their immediate family members and close relatives in Hong Kong and Macao;

(four) the immediate family members who have settled in Hong Kong and Macao have no inheritance, and they must be inherited by the children who have settled in the Mainland;

(five) there are other special circumstances that must be solved.
