Hong Kong and Macao residents' travel permits to and from the Mainland, commonly known as Home Visit Permits, are issued by People's Republic of China (PRC) and the Exit-Entry Administration of the Ministry of Public Security of China. They are the documents for China residents of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region to travel to and from the mainland of China.

Guidance notes for applying for Hong Kong and Macao residents' travel permits to and from the Mainland:
1. The Pass for Hong Kong and Macao Residents to and from the Mainland (hereinafter referred to as the Pass) is a pass for China citizens who have settled in Hong Kong and Macao to and from the Mainland.
2. The following Hong Kong residents, regardless of whether they hold British National (Overseas) passports (BN(0)), British passports (BC) or other foreign passports or travel documents, are all China citizens if they have not declared their change of nationality to the Hong Kong Immigration Department; China compatriots among the following Macao residents, regardless of whether they hold Portuguese travel documents or identity documents, are China citizens and can apply for a pass:
(a) born in Hong Kong and Macao, with China origin of Hong Kong and Macao permanent residents;
(2) Mainland residents who have been approved to settle in Hong Kong and Macao and become Hong Kong and Macao residents;
(3) China citizens born in other parts of China who are permanent residents of Hongkong and Macao;
(4) China citizens born in foreign countries who are permanent residents of Hongkong and Macao;
(five) foreign nationals or stateless persons among the permanent residents of Hongkong and Macao who have been approved to restore or join China nationality.
3. The Ministry of Public Security entrusts China Travel Agency in Hong Kong to accept Hong Kong residents' applications for passports, and China Travel Agency in Macau to accept Macao residents' applications for passports.
Four, the validity of the pass is divided into five years and 10 years. Pass valid for 5 years will be issued to Hong Kong and Macao residents under 18, and pass valid for 10 will be issued to Hong Kong and Macao residents over 18 (inclusive).
