Xu Wen and Taiping, whose Leizhou dialect is more pure?

Both Leizhou dialect and Xuwen dialect belong to Leizhou dialect in a broad sense, both of which are branches of Pan-Minnan dialect, but there are some differences in accents, and they can basically communicate without barriers. The two places say the same thing, so Xuwen is more pure.

Leizhou and Xuwen don't speak Cantonese locally. Except for young people who grew up watching TV programs in Hong Kong and those who go out to work and study, the locals can hardly speak.
