Recently, the Malaysian government announced that from 2020 1 October1,tourists from China and India will enjoy visa-free entry to Malaysia within one year, and the longest stay will be 15 days. This means that Malaysia will become another country that opens visa-free access to China.

Visitors from China must register in the electronic system of relevant Malaysian immigration offices, and only when they have round-trip air tickets to their own countries or third countries and sufficient funds can they travel. In addition, this policy covers not only all airports that can enter Malaysia, but also seven land entry ports including Johor Bahru Railway Station.

Malaysian media said that the government's visa exemption for tourists from China and India is to achieve the goal of attracting 30 million international tourists and generating 654.38 billion ringgit (about 654.38 billion RMB) in tourism revenue in 2020.

The gold content of China passports continues to rise, and more and more countries allow China citizens to enter the country visa-free.

In recent years, the gold content of China passports has been rising. According to the latest data released by China Consular Service Network 20110/0, at present, 147 countries have concluded visa-free agreements with China, and China citizens usually do not need to apply for visas in advance for short-term travel to the concluding countries with applicable passports. Among them, there are 14 countries that grant visa-free entry to China, and 15 countries or regions that unilaterally grant visa-free entry to China citizens, including Indonesia and other countries. In addition, in order to encourage China tourists to travel to Thailand, Thailand recently announced that it will extend visa-free landing to April 30, 2020.

Visa-free entry does not mean that you can stay or live indefinitely in the agreed country. According to the requirements of the agreement, after visa-free entry with relevant passports, it is generally only allowed to stay for no more than 30 days. If the holder needs to stay for more than 30 days, he should go through the residence formalities in the local area as soon as possible according to the regulations.
