I'm in the ninth grade in America now.

American universities will look at your GPA and SAT scores for four years in high school when enrolling students.

Grade points are counted from the ninth grade. The average class has a maximum GPA of 4.0. Honors/Pre-AP/Pre-IB is 4.5. The AP/IB is 5.0.

The higher the GPA, the more difficult the course is.

The IB/AP course is equivalent to the university level. After the high school show, you can bring credits to the university if you pass the exam.

I suggest you go to 10 grade.

Only in this way can we have time to get familiar with the language environment and prepare for the SAT( 10 grade). There will be a unified PSAT exam in our school last semester. Just like simulation, you can know your level. )

Stanford and Princeton are the top five schools in the United States.

There is hope, but it will be difficult, because many people will want to rush in.

I know a sister.

The GPA is 4.2. When I graduated, I was in the top 3% of the students in the school (about 3000 students). Then I got about 2200 on the SAT. Then I entered the biology major of the state university. (UT Austin is also a good university. This is a public school. )

She actually received several admission notices from the top 20 schools, but for some reason, she didn't go.

So ... being admitted is possible.

But you must work harder.
