Jiayuguan immigrant city

If you look up the historical evolution, you will know that Jiayuguan actually became a prefecture-level city because of Jiugang. Jiayuguan City is a new modern city developed with the construction of "jiuquan iron and steel Company", a key construction project of the National Tenth Five-Year Plan. Named after Jiayuguan, it is the western end of the Ming Great Wall. Sunan Jingtieshan Iron Mine originally belonged to Jiuquan County and was discovered in 1955. 1958, jiuquan iron and steel company was established, focusing on the original towns, drawing out some areas under the jurisdiction of Jiuquan County and Sunan County, and establishing the preparatory committee of Jiayuguan City, Gansu Province. Established in 1965, 197 1 was approved as a provincial city in the State Council.
