My suggestion is to register in China first, and then report to Vietnam (or not), which can save a lot of time and energy.

* The materials that the woman needs to prepare are:

First, the woman needs to issue a Vietnamese unmarried certificate (usually 1 to 2 days), and it needs to be translated into Chinese, which is fair (fast takes 2 days, slow takes a week).

Second, take the notarized unmarried certificate to the Vietnamese Consular Bureau (a department specializing in foreigners' marriage) for certification. This step usually takes 3 ~ 5 days.

Thirdly, if all these materials are complete and certified by the Embassy of China in Viet Nam (charging 20 dollars), it usually takes 2-3 working days. If the woman is studying or working in Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou or Nanning, she can get the certification from the Vietnamese Consulate.

Fourth, the woman's passport should be translated into Chinese. It is best to translate in China, and the charge is about 150 ~ 200 yuan. Translation in China requires the translation company to attach valid certificates such as business license (if it is translated in a translation company designated by the Civil Affairs Bureau, no business license is required). If translation in Vietnam requires consulate certification together with unmarried certificate (too much trouble ~ ~ ~ not recommended).

After getting China's marriage certificate, you can go to Vietnam to register. It means that the woman is married, and she will not be given an unmarried certificate here in Vietnam in the future. But dealing with this matter means that this woman must be removed from her household registration book. Therefore, Vietnam cannot do it here. Because in Vietnam, it's easy to remove it, but it's not that simple to ask them to add your name to the household registration book.
