The first stage: obtaining residence status (the applicant needs to hold real estate or continue to start a business to maintain this residence status, and must meet the local residence or landing requirements);

The second stage: change the residence status to permanent residence status, commonly known as green card (applicants can change their permanent residence status after maintaining their residence status for 5 years);

The third stage: permanent residence transfer to obtain EU passport (applicants need to hold permanent residence for 5 to 8 years and meet the residence requirements of local countries and naturalization language test)

Of course, there are exceptions among the 28 EU countries. After investigating the immigration policies of all EU countries in the market, we found that the conditions for permanent residence and naturalization in Bulgaria are much simpler than those in the other 27 EU countries.

The first stage: it does not exist (because Bulgaria can directly obtain permanent residence in one step, commonly known as green card), and there is no need to worry about landing and renewing residence visas every year;

The second stage: permanent residence (Bulgaria 100% has no residence or landing requirements, and fully meets the immigration needs of customers) to obtain a green card in one step for half a year;

The third stage: permanent residence transfer to obtain EU passport (applicants only need to hold permanent residence 1 year to apply for naturalization directly, Bulgaria has no residence requirements and no naturalization language test).

Next, let's take a look at what is an EU citizen.

EU citizenship: According to the Maastricht Treaty, every individual who holds the citizenship of any EU member state is called an EU citizen and can enjoy all the benefits and rights of the country where he lives, such as freedom of movement, working environment, educational resources and medical care.

The only difference is that Bulgaria has the lowest threshold among all the doors.
