When the weight is above 60 kg, the digestive organs of pigs develop well and the feed intake is large. Feeding restriction can achieve the purpose of saving feed, reducing fat deposition and improving lean meat rate.
The standard of food restriction is generally 80% ~ 85% of the total intake.
Slaughter at the right time
The growth and development of pigs are carried out in the order of bone, meat and fat. The longer the feeding period or the larger the weight of the pig, the more fat deposits and the thicker the pigskin will reduce the lean meat rate of the carcass.
In addition, fat deposition in pigs consumes nine times as much energy as that in protein, so raising pigs has to pay a huge feed price.
The slaughter weight of three-way hybrid lean-meat pigs is usually 70 ~ 90 kg.
5. Do a good job in raising ecological environment and reduce stress reaction.
Three-way hybrid lean-meat pigs are sensitive and prone to stress reactions, affecting growth and health, and even causing death. For example, in high temperature environment, the appetite of pigs decreases and the weight gain is slow. Low temperature will increase the nutritional consumption of pigs. High feeding density, serious noise and air pollution make it difficult for pigs to calm down, leading to tail biting, ear biting and fighting. Therefore, the pigsty should be kept warm in winter and cool in summer, ventilated and breathable, and the density is appropriate to make pigs healthy.
