A trip to Nepal with vague memories

In order to accurately record my trip, I looked through photos and air tickets about Nepal all day, but I couldn't find them. I really sigh that I am old. [tears]

In Kathmandu, China backpackers like to stay in Phoenix Hotel, and the boss is from Sichuan. I don't remember whether I stayed at the Phoenix Hotel at that time, because my nephew said that traveling abroad means going abroad, so don't crowd with many China people, so I can't even use English. I only remember that even if we didn't live in the Phoenix Hotel, we were in the alley where the Phoenix Hotel was located. There are many hotels in that alley. Because only a few photos can prove that the restaurant in our hotel is very big and there are Nepalese folk song and dance performances. Later, I specially invited my nephew out to eat Thai food, and the professional evaluation was not very authentic. [Cover your face]

I can now confirm that the road I have traveled is Kathmandu-Boccara (because there are paragliders in Boccara)-Lumbini. I'm too lazy to go hiking (although I caught a vogue in Horton Plain in Sri Lanka), so I shouldn't go to Chitwan National Park. But there is a place in my memory where I can see the snow peak. I wonder if it's a long mouth. I only remember taking crazy pictures of Xuefeng at that time. Unfortunately, no photos were found. I want to compare it online and find that there are still many scenic spots in Nepal where I can see Xuefeng. [flashing]

In Boccara, I bravely enlarged my nephew and sister Chuan to go paragliding, because my stomach discomfort successfully covered up my timidity and aching flesh. It seems to be 600 RMB/person. In order to let my nephew take good photos, I lent him my Apple phone. However, since then, my nephew has clearly expressed his dissatisfaction with me. I guess in hindsight that there are chats between me and his parents and friends in the mobile phone, and many of them are caught criticizing him [I want to be quiet].

The biggest destination of my trip is Lumbini, a Buddhist holy place. Mrs. Moyev Temple is the only place in Lumbini Garden that charges fees (compared with our scenic spot tickets, it is really cheap), and the castle-like white palace building is not as grand as expected. There is a big old bodhi tree behind the temple, with vines on it (the birthplace of the Buddha, enlightenment and even nirvana of the Buddha are all related to the bodhi tree), and many red and yellow ribbons are hung on it. The kind old man enjoys the cool under the tree, and the years are quiet, which calms our impetuous hearts. In the north of the temple stands the famous "Ashoka Pillar". To be honest, it looks like a cement chimney. India has many roots, the most famous of which is the stone pillar painted by Rokuyaon, which has become the national emblem of India because of its exquisite and beautiful shape. The bathroom opposite Mrs. Moyev is a real holy pool. It is said that every year kings from Bhutan and other countries come here to get water and then go home to bless. I saw the Buddha statue for the first time in the sacred garden. [Pray] [Pray] [Pray] [Pray] [Pray]

Many Buddhist countries have their own temples in Lumbini, and our "Chinese Temple" is the best in scale. At that time, I also lamented that the price of offering ever-burning lamps in temples was much lower than that in China. Look at the consciousness of the Nepalese people. If this is in our Greater China region, there will be such a genuine holy land. With the ingenuity of China people, how can we find another way to make money? [money]

Friendly reminder: you must know more about the local customs and culture before going out, especially when you don't know the language of the country, otherwise it will be a "stupid camera" [smile]
