Malta passport processing flow

As a limited naturalization project in the EU, Maltese passport immigration has attracted the attention of many foreign investors since its launch. The investment requirements are simple, just need to donate +5 years of real estate investment, which can be withdrawn after 5 years of investment, without any cost of maintaining identity.

Application process

1. Initial ringback tone;

2. Apply for residence status and choose to buy a house or rent a house;

3. Log in to Malta to record fingerprints and obtain a residence card;

4. Submit the qualification materials, and the Immigration Bureau will conduct further background investigation;

5. After passing the qualification examination, the issuance shall be approved in principle;

6. According to the donation type selected by the applicant, submit the citizen application materials after waiting for the residence status to meet the requirements;

7. Respond to the principle of citizen application and complete the requirements of donation, house purchase/rental as required;

8. Landing in Malta and swearing to get a passport.
