Can I immigrate to Australia over the age of 55?

Some visas to immigrate to Australia require the applicant's age. For example, Australia's 188A and 188B visas require the applicant to be under 55, while Australia's 188C visa does not require the applicant's age, nor does it require the applicant's English and academic qualifications.
