From the above provisions, it can be found that permanent residents or citizens of Canada can apply for parents, spouses and children or unmarried couples. This kind of application focuses on the relative relationship between the applicant and Canada, so the scoring system is not suitable for this kind of application. For example, if you apply for a spouse and children, you only need to prove the immigration status of the applicant's spouse in Canada, and there is no income limit. Applicants only need to pass physical examination and good behavior records to obtain immigration status, while parents or unmarried couples who apply for sponsorship need sufficient income support.
