Configuration mode
* * * There are three water diversion routes: east, middle and west. Three water transfer lines are connected with the Yangtze River, Yellow River, Huaihe River and Haihe River, forming an overall layout with "four horizontals and three verticals" as the main body. In order to realize the rational allocation pattern of water resources in China, that is, north-south allocation and east-west mutual assistance. The Middle Route Project of South-to-North Water Transfer and the East Route Project of South-to-North Water Transfer (Phase I) have been completed, and water has been transferred to the northern region. The west line project is still in the planning stage, and construction has not started.
Make use of the existing water diversion projects in Jiangsu Province, gradually expand the scale of water diversion and extend the water transmission lines. The East Route Project draws water from the Yangtze River from Yangzhou in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River, and gradually pumps water to the north by using the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal and its parallel rivers. It also connects Hongze Lake, Roman Lake, Nansi Lake and Dongping Lake, and plays a role in storage. After leaving Dongping Lake, the water will be transported to the The Journey to the West in two ways and cross the Yellow River through a tunnel near Yishan. The other road goes eastward, leading to Yantai and Weihai through the economic trunk line of South-to-North Water Transfer in Jiaodong area.
