Brief introduction of Fenshui Hydropower Station in Tonglu County, Zhejiang Province

Fenshuijiang Water Control Project in Zhejiang Province is one of the eight key water conservancy construction projects in Zhejiang Province during the Tenth Five-Year Plan period approved by the National Development and Reform Commission. The dam site is located in Wu Liting, upstream of Fenshui Town, Tonglu County. This project is a key flood control project recommended by the comprehensive management plan of Qiantang River and Fenshui River Basin. The project focuses on flood control, combined with power generation, taking into account the comprehensive utilization of irrigation, water supply, tourism and water environment improvement. The rainwater collection area above the dam site is 2630 square kilometers, accounting for 76.4% of the basin area. The total storage capacity is 65,438+92.6 million cubic meters, of which the flood control storage capacity is 65,438+43.5 million cubic meters, the dam foundation is 33 meters wide and the dam height is 34.7 meters. The installed capacity of the power station is 30,000 kilowatts, and the average power generation for many years is 68.37 million kWh. The relocated population is 7,000, with a total investment of 784 million yuan and a construction period of 3 years. After the completion of the project, combined with downstream dam dredging and other projects, the flood control capacity of towns along the river can be improved to once every 20 years, the flood control capacity of farmland can be improved to once every 10, and the flood control capacity of Tonglu County can reach once every 50 years. Through reasonable dispatching with Fuchunjiang Power Station, the flood control pressure on both sides of Fuchunjiang River can be significantly reduced, and the flood control standard in the middle and lower reaches of Qiantang River basin can be further improved. At the same time, it also plays a positive role in optimizing the investment and development environment along Fenshui River and Fuchun River and promoting the sustainable economic and social development of the basin.
