What visa-free countries are there in Taiwan Province Province?

There are more than 170 countries in Taiwan Province province, including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark and Estonia.

Tourists from India, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam and Indonesia who hold valid visas (including permanent residence permits) from the United States, Canada, Japan, Britain, Schengen, Australia and New Zealand.

To apply for visa-free entry to Taiwan Province, authors who meet the above conditions and are not employed as blue-collar foreign workers in Taiwan Province must first register their licenses and personal basic information with the "Online Inspection System for First-timers from Five Southeast Asian Countries" specially set up by the Ministry of the Interior and the Immigration Department through the Internet, and obtain the documents before they can go through the boarding and entry license inspection procedures. Those who fail to produce valid visas or permanent residence permits of designated advanced countries during entry inspection will not be allowed to enter the country.

Required elements:

1. Passports must be valid for more than 6 months (official passports such as ordinary, official and diplomatic passports are applicable, but emergency and temporary unofficial passports or travel documents are not included. * Japanese passports should be valid for more than three months; Holders of emergency or temporary passports should apply for visas from Chinese embassies abroad or apply for visas on arrival at Taoyuan or Kaohsiung Xiaogang Airport).

2. A plane (boat) ticket or a plane (boat) ticket for returning to the next destination and a valid visa. The plane (ship) ticket should set the departure date and set the position of the next plane (ship).

3. There is no bad record after inspection by the airport or port inspection unit of the Republic of China.

The duration of stay is 90 days from the day after entry, for those who hold Japanese, British, Irish and New Zealand passports; Passport holders from other countries are required to leave the country for 30 days at the latest (please click here for overdue fines). After the expiration of the stay visa or residence visa, other stay periods cannot be extended or changed.

However, if white-collar professionals, their spouses and children under the age of 20 are unable to leave the country as scheduled due to major force majeure accidents such as acute serious illness and natural disasters, or obtain work permits during their stay after entering the country, they will not be included in the change of stay visa with the approval of the Consular Bureau of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or the Central, Southern and Eastern Offices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
