What is "Chinese American"? What are the characteristics?

Chinese Americans are Chinese Americans. Chinese-Americans refer to people who originally had China nationality, but have been naturalized in the United States (renounced China nationality) due to historical and life reasons, or Chinese American citizens. Chinese Americans are part of the global Chinese community. They include Taiwan Province Province of the United States, Chinese-American Singaporeans and Chinese immigrants from other countries in the world who joined the United States. In 2007, the total number of Chinese Americans was 3,538,407, accounting for 23.3% of the Asian population, accounting for 1% of the total American population, which was higher than the proportion of other Asians in the United States.
